These terms of use (together with the documents referred to in it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of any of our website or App www.Traveline.info (the Site) whether as a guest or a registered user. Use of our Site/App includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our Site/App.

Prohibited uses

You must not access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt, any part of our Site/App; any equipment or network on which our Site/App is stored, any software used in the provision of our Site/App, or any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.
You may not circumvent or attempt to circumvent Traveline Information Ltd. security (referred to as 'cracking' or 'hacking').
In the interests of all our users, Traveline Information Ltd. will co-operate with investigations by any law enforcement or relevant authorities of suspected criminal activity or violation of systems or network.

Our Site/App is made available free of charge.

We may limit the availability of our Site/App at any time and the rail services referred to on our Site/App are geographically limited. If you choose to access our Site/App from outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk.

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Site/App, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You must not frame, mirror, or embed any part of this Site/App within another website or app or digital platform without the prior written consent of Traveline Information Ltd. This restriction does not apply where a separate written agreement has been entered into with Traveline Information Ltd. specifically authorising the use of the Traveline Journey Planning widget or other approved Site/App elements on third-party Site/Apps.
We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of service.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly notify us by calling 01766 800 871.
Privacy
We take the issue of data protection very seriously. We may collect information about you while you browse the Site/App. We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
If a court finds part of these terms illegal, the rest will continue in force
Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
Even if we delay in enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later
If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking these terms, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
General
You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these Terms.
These Terms cannot be varied except in writing by Traveline Information Ltd. Nothing said by any employee or agent of Traveline Information Ltd.will be capable of varying these Terms.
The parties do not intend any of these clauses to be enforceable pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Applicable law
If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
If you are a business, these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
