Take a stroll through these extensive gardens, designed as a series of ‘rooms’.

See butterflies and bees enjoying flowers in the white garden.

Marvel at majestic trees in the arboretum.

Lose yourself in the yew hedge maze, planted in 1846.

Admire blooms in the rose garden, and colourful flowers in the walled garden.

The gardens belong to Somerleyton Hall, a Jacobean Manor house shaped by John Thomas, sculptor and architect to Prince Albert. It is now home to Lord and Lady Somerleyton and is only open to the public on select dates.
