New Traveline Website

We’re delighted hear that users are enjoying the new Traveline website, bringing a fresh, modern experience while retaining all the key features our users rely on. The redesigned site offers a cleaner look and improved usability and accessibility, making it easier than ever to plan your journey. Alongside the new design, we’ve introduced enhanced mapping for more accurate route alignment, integrated real-time disruption information, improved customer feedback tools, and a brand-new section showcasing great value days out by public transport in partnership with Good Journey.

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share feedback on our new website following its launch on 23 March. We’ve received a great deal of positive response, and we’re especially grateful to those who have provided constructive insights to help us improve the experience further.

Issues we are aware of

We are aware of a small number of issues currently affecting some customers:

‘My Location’ default in search
Some users are experiencing issues with the “My Location” default setting in the origin and destination fields within the journey planner. This can happen when entering or copying and pasting locations that the system does not recognise, causing it to revert to “My Location.” We’re sorry that the search has been causing occasional difficulties and we’re working with our website supplier to improve this.

In the meantime, if this occurs, we recommend adjusting your search by:

  • Entering just the postcode, or
  • Typing the address manually and selecting the correct option from the dropdown list 

In this case, less is often more and can help produce more accurate results.

Downloadable PDF Timetables
At present, the website does not support downloadable PDF timetables. However, we’re pleased to confirm that this feature is already in development and will be introduced in the next phase of updates - coming soon.

We’re also aware that some timetables may not currently be displaying as expected. If you notice that your service is missing, please let us know so we can investigate.
