Charlotte, Anne and Emily Brontë wrote celebrated works including Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
The museum in Yorkshire holds the largest collection of original Brontë items in the world. This includes jewellery, letters, clothes and Charlotte’s writing desk. There is also a research library with an extensive collection of books about the Brontës and the history of the local area.
The museum hosts exhibitions and events including talks, readings, courses and children’s activities.
