As well as journey planning and live departures we also provide Open Data services. This means that you can use our data to develop your own web or app services.

We’ve created a database of all the routes and times for bus, ferry and light rail services in Great Britain. It’s called the Traveline National Dataset; we update it each week and you can download it for free once you’ve subscribed.

We also provide a live feed of bus departures which sources data from over 50 third party servers and provides them as a standard format single source.

We’ve created these Open Data services because they aren’t available anywhere else. We don’t receive any public funding and operate entirely on income from customers using our services. This means that we may need to charge for some of these services in order to cover our costs. For more information and access to our Open Data services please visit Traveline data.
